Hungry for time, 2023

Video, 1080p, color, sound 4’52’’

Variable dimensions

Hungry for Time consists on the observation of a strange figure that is

masked as an older woman, with a totally green body. While an

individual relay race is presented, she interacts with five objects

that are connected to childhood, activating and transporting them,

in order to carry out all the route, in the delineated area.

A run against time. A slow run. Or quick one? The fast movement

has several interpretations, it can be done very slowly and,

likewise, have in its intention the speed of execution.

The sound that accompanies this trajectory causes tension in

the rhythm that the figure uses in the execution of these tasks,

creating a parallelism between the desired and the time used.

When everything on the road ends, there is a sensation of calm

and relief, having the right to a short pause that quickly dissolves.
